We are a group of small animal practices in Oxford, first established in 1964. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open seven days a week and have access to some of the latest technological advances in both surgery and diagnostic imaging. For your added convenience, there’s free parking for clients at our surgeries.
Lorraine spent 16 years travelling across the UK and Ireland working in the medical industry, training nurses on phlebotomy, cannulation and other medical procedures. Following a knee replacement she decided to return to her first love – working with animals. Lorraine started at Headington in November 2018 and loves everything about the role (especially when she gets to cuddle puppies or Staffies!). She currently has two rescue cats and a beautiful Romanian street dog called Mikey. Lorraine also does short term fostering for the rescue centre, and her hobbies include going out with Mikey and spending time with her four beautiful grandsons.
Receptionist at Botley
Having spent years in IT as a programmer, police control room operator, donor attendant (vampire), waitress etc, Sally-Ann decided it was time to work with her one true love: animals. Sally is still coming to terms with the death off 22 year old wonder cat, Kipling, who was the last of many rescued cats and dogs.
Maria started working at Beaumont Vets in November 2018, having previously worked at another Oxfordshire vets and a local dog training and behaviour centre. She holds a degree in Canine and Feline behaviour and has her own dog behaviour and training business in South Oxfordshire. Maria has a particular love for staffies and guinea pigs and currently shares her life with a rescue English Springer Spaniel called Chester, a Shetland pony called William and a cob called Mabel. Maria's hobbies all revolve around animals and she enjoys undertaking dog training courses (especially scent work and rally obedience), reading dog and horse behaviour and training books, riding Mabel and driving William.
Receptionist at Kidlington
Marie joined Beaumont in August 2019 as a Dog Groomer at Botley and moved to the Kidlington practice in March 2020 to become one of our Receptionists. She has two cats, two dogs and enjoys getting to know our clients and having cuddles with the pets.
