First – a big thank you!
Thank you so much to all of our clients and their furry companions for their patience and support over the last few months. It has been a challenge for our clients and all of us as we have changed our ways of working in order to keep our clients and their pets safe and well cared for, whilst ensuring our team are all fully vaccinated and kept safe.
We genuinely hope we can gradually return to some form of normality again in 2022!
New Services at Botley Road Surgery
2022 is already feeling a much better year as we launch new services at Botley Road from 31st January 2022.
Mondays: 2pm – 4pm
Physiotherapy treatment started during early stages of healing is the most effective.
Visiting ACPAT Physiotherapist Nycky Edleston will be holding clinics on Mondays to help the healing process for pets who have had orthopaedic surgery or who have neurological conditions, arthritis, sprains and muscle strains, movement issues or are being treated for obesity.
Acupuncture and pain management clinics
Tuesdays: 3pm – 5pm
Our resident vet and acupuncturist Ros Jones MRCVS will be holding acupuncture clinics.
Ros has a GP Certificate in Western Veterinary Acupuncture and Chronic Pain Management.
Find out more about acupuncture here
Bookable weekdays: 10am – 6pm
RVN and Head Nurse, Dominique Carlton, RVN Rachel Boxall and Practice Administrator Maria Williams all hold a degree in Animal Behaviour.
Our team will run behaviour clinics at Botley Road offering advice on:
- Puppy mouthing/biting.
- Phobias including firework anxiety, fear of coming into the vets and separation anxiety.
- Inappropriate toileting.
- Socialisation challenges.
They work closely with other qualified behaviourists and trainers and are happy to refer if necessary.
There is a large car park at Botley Road surgery and easy access to a lovely dog walk by the river. Traffic is also lighter at the above times.
Any of the above new services can be booked by calling Botley Road direct on 01865 243225 or by speaking to the vets at any of our branches.
