Born in Buffalo New York, Grace accompanied her parents at the age of 5 afloat the Queen Mary to England which has been her place of residence ever since.
At college she studied Shorthand Typing and English which held great interest to her, so it felt only right that she should pursue her career in that field.
On leaving school Grace became a Junior Clerk progressing to PA and has worked in the fields of administrative duties within hospitality and local government.
When an opportunity arose within Beaumont Veterinary group, she embraced the challenge of working in this new field and enjoys being part of our friendly team.
Jackie has lived in Oxford for 25 years and for the past 5 and half years she have worked at Beaumont Vets as a Part-time Receptionist. She has a love of all animals and enjoys her job very much.
At home Jackie has various pets, including a cat and a rabbit that were rescued by Beaumont Vets. She also has six lizards, fourteen tarantulas, one scorpion, one tortoise, one skink and four snakes. Jackie has been keeping reptiles and spiders for 20 years.
Having spent years in I.T as a programmer, police control room operator, donor attendant (vampire), waitress etc, she decided it was time to work with her one true love; Animals.
She is still coming to terms with the death off 22 year old wonder cat, Kipling who was the last of many rescued cats & dogs.
Sue is our part time receptionist at the Headington practice and has been part of the Beaumont team since 2000.
She has an adorable Labrador cross Cavalier King Charles called Devon who loves just about everything and a ginger and white cat called Dibble, who loves nothing more than finding a lovely sunny spot to curl up and relax in.
Sue’s passion for animals has been passed down to her two boys who have pet Guinea pigs, fish and a hamster!
Sue is one of the part-time receptionists at Kidlington and has been with Beaumont since December 1999. Sue loves all animals but holds a special place in her heart for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, having grown up with them she now have her own special girl called ‘Lady’ who is permanently attached to her side, where Sue is Lady is, partners in crime.
Sue also enjoys caravanning with the family, baking and curling up on the sofa under a blanket with Lady, happy days!
